Impact of the refugee crisis on the transport sector

The current deteriorating refugee crisis shows that the lack of a comprehensive EU migration and asylum system seriously affects our European economy, especially the transport sector and networks. This event will aim at showing, beyond the human cost, the economic impact on one of the EU core sectors, transport. The hearing is an opportunity for the ALDE Group to be amongst the first to tackle this subject.
